Overview:
This machine is designed for the fully automated assembly and high-precision crimping of wires to twisted pin assemblies, with integrated wire length control. It features automatic wire feeding from a reel onto a rotary fixture, where a laser stripping unit removes insulation without damaging the conductor. Twisted pin assemblies are accurately fed via a vibratory bowl feeder and are then crimped to the stripped wire using a servo-driven four-point crimping mechanism. Equipped with a vision inspection system, the machine performs real-time checks on crimp dimensions, length, and concentricity, followed by automatic sorting of OK and NG parts. Laser stripping ensures efficiency and conductor integrity, while servo four-point crimping guarantees connection reliability and consistency. The machine operates with high stability, significantly improving production efficiency and product yield.
Process Flow:
Twisted pin assembly feeding (vibratory bowl) → Wire reel feeding & laser stripping → Automatic alignment and assembly of pin and wire → Servo four-point crimping → Vision inspection (crimp dimensions, length, concentricity, and surface defects) → Automatic unloading and sorting (OK/NG).
